Answer:

"Spartacus" is a pretty famous but old movie - it won a few awards as I recall.

"Troy" is a newer movie, the one Brad Pitt was in - it didn't win anything; I don't think it even broke even.

The concept of "single-warrior combat" is a Greek one (Roman too, for a while) as you've seen in The Odyssey, and maybe you can apply that to books like...
..."Shogun" by James Clavell...
...and to the animated movie "Avatar: The Last Airbender" - which is I think is a manga too.

"Ben-Hur" is an old movie with a slew of awards and still pretty well-known for that chariot race in particular - Roman influence is certainly in that one.

"Birth of a Nation" is a seemingly ancient movie, still talked about because of its presentation and its sweeping epic proportions... Epics being a favorite in Greek mythology.

"Mourning Becomes Electra" is an experimental but still well-known play by Eugene O'Neill (it runs nine hours - if it runs) and is based on the Greek cycle of Sophocles.

"King Lear" by Shakespeare, with his troubles and his three daughters is similar to many Greek myths.

"Beowulf" is a newer movie, this one with Angelina Jolie - it won attention for being Jolie's appearance (her 'non-costume') and for being inaccurate...

...but that's based on a myth of unknown origin...

Guess I'm tapped out on this for now.
Best of luck with it...
