It's a bad thing to even call these people Islamic "Fanatics". They are not Islamic and shouldn't reresent them at all. I had these same thoughts until I came to the Middle East and talked to the people and lived with them for quite some time now. They should be, in no way, connected to the killing that goes on. Their religion very specifically says that they are to kill nothing, especially people, without there being some reason. (Animals are killed only for food and they use everypart of the animal. people are only killed in self-defence and it is still frowned on). You can't say that these are even fanatical interpertations, these are people trying to manipulate people's ideals and beliefs. It's a very complicated deal but, to call them even Fanatics gives Islam a bad name. I would have never thought I would try to defend Islam but, more people need to understand what it's about. The only reason I know anything about it is becasue I asked the same questions when I first got here. (I am an American and a Christian)
